Rooftop of the Duomo in Milan Vlog
This is a short vlog I made of a trip to the Rooftop of the Duomo in Milan or if you’re searching for this, probably just “Rooftop Duomo Milan”. This is the main cathedral in Milan, Italy and it’s quite the sight to see. Supposedly it took hundreds of years to build and I can see why. Afterwards I went inside as well but you need to pay to take photos and I wasn’t in the mood so you’ll have to see that for yourself when you visit.
I will note that if you’re going to the rooftop of the Duomo di Milano, you definitely want to go later in the day or earlier if you can. At around mid-day the lines are large and the sun is hot. Also, if you’re willing to pay a little more cash you can take an elevator up; I did that then took the steps down and wished I had taken the elevator once more. Another drawback to walking the stairs up is that you’re going to probably have to wait in line before you even get a chance to climb them.
If you’re in Milan, you gotta check out the Duomo, it’s that simple.
Tips hat,
Very cool perspective! Great job!
Thanks Sharon!
What an amazing place. It’s so incredible that they took the time to put such detail into a roof. It looks like Carrera marble too — just the place to use copious amounts of beautiful Marble.
