While I was in Budva, Montenegro this summer I had the pleasure of attending the opening night at the Top Hill Nightclub which is this massive open air club on top of a hill outside the city of Budva. This club is one of the largest open air nightclubs in Europe and famous for incredible parties; this was opening night before the high season was in full swing but still a solid time.

Supposedly the club takes on a totally different person when it’s completely filled to capacity which is quite a common occurrence when high season is in full swing and I can only imagine it. From what I heard is that when completely full, it’s like an electric buzz which goes through the place. We stayed for a while and it was enough to get a taste. Should I return some summer in the future during the peak of high season, I’d without a doubt go back to check it out.

We also stopped by Jef Bar on the way which is my favorite spot in Budva so far. It’s always packed playing good music and you can always count on there being an interesting group of people. Before 10:30pm it’s usually quite slow but after that it fills up quick so if you want a good spot; get there before that time. It’s not uncommon for the streets around it to be filled as well.
