The Park Vegas: The Strip’s New Outdoor Entertainment District

The Las Vegas strip has a new outdoor entertainment district, it’s called The Park Vegas by MGM Resorts. All of the top metropolitan destinations around the world are putting a focus on providing the public with engaging and eclectic outdoor spaces. Las Vegas is holding true to this trend by offering an immersive fresh air venue in the heart of the city.

The Park is an expansive open-air space right on the Las Vegas Strip. A place where you can come enjoy food, drinks, culture, and an array of entertainment options. The Park is fitted with plenty of outdoor seating so you’ll be able to get some fresh air while you experience Sin City to the fullest.

Location of The Park Vegas

Located right off the iconic Las Vegas Strip, The Park isn’t just a venue; it is an entire neighborhood catered to meeting all of your expectations when in Vegas. When walking on Las Vegas Boulevard just make a turn onto Park Avenue. The outdoor venue is situated just steps from New York-New York, MGM Park and the T-Mobile Arena.

Quick Eats and Fine Dining Options at The Park Vegas

One of the top reasons to spend some time in The Park Vegas is to grab a meal before heading off to a show at the T-Mobile Arena. No matter what your food preferences are, you’ll find something to satisfy your rumbling tummy.

Sake Rok

Japan is known for its colorful pop-culture show and world-class sushi. You’ll be able to experience both by stopping in at Sake Rok. The name doesn’t lie; you can drink sake bombs alongside your travel buddies or new Vegas friends until the night ends. If you’re just looking for a quick bite while you explore the town, Sake Rok is now offering grab and go sushi burritos starting at noon everyday.

The show at Sake Rok has to be mentioned as it’s a reason to visit by itself. It’s very interactive and close to being over the top in the best way possible. When you come for dinner, you’re also there to watch the show.  As a result, you won’t feel pressured to leave once you finish your last bite.

Bruxie

The specialty at Bruxie is fried chicken and waffles. That said, you won’t find any average chicken and waffles here. Bruxie is home to the original Chicken & Waffle Sandwich which means you’ll be getting a huge piece of fried chicken sandwiched between two savory waffles, all drizzled in maple syrup.

Literally every menu item is made from scratch at Bruxie. Everything from the breading on the chicken to the waffle batter. You can even sip on housemade cola that was created right onsite.

Beerhaus

The best spot to grab a craft beer is The Park’s Beerhaus. It has tons of beers on draft that beer snobs and casual drinkers can both enjoy. The relaxed vibes are great if you’re not looking to get dolled up for the evening; feel free kick back and relax in a T-shirt and jeans.

On top of a huge craft beer selection, Beerhaus offers some tasty bites including savory sausages, sandwiches, and finger food. If all you want in life is beer and chicken wings, Beerhaus will be your heaven on earth. Another perk is that you can feel like a responsible tourist since their meat is hormone-free and the produce is locally sourced.

California Pizza Kitchen

The Park wouldn’t be complete without at least one pizza joint so they have California Pizza Kitchen – or CPK to most Californians. It has tons of hand-tossed pizza options to choose from. These ranging from kid-friendly cheesy pizza to authentic creations using only the best ingredients.

The entire restaurant is centered around a hearth stove. This way you might just be able to see (and smell) your pizza as it comes out of the oven. There are still plenty of options if pizza is not your thing. The CPK chain is known for its inventive main plates, fresh salads, and creamy pasta dishes.

Shake Shack

Anyone who just can’t seem to get burger off the brain should make a stop at Shake Shack. The restaurant is technically part of the New York New York venue but you’ll be able to smell the 100% angus beef patties from anywhere in The Park. Maybe you’re familiar with the classic diner style restaurant from a trip to Madison Square Park in NY, but now you can enjoy it in the heart of Vegas.

Things to Do in The Park Vegas

Aside from a whole litany of restaurants to choose from, there is plenty to keep you entertained within the confines of The Park. If you’re just on the prowl for a fun nightlife scene head next door to New York-New York’s Coyote Ugly Bar – and yes, this means you’ll be able to take in the famous bar dance just like you saw in the movie.

Any tourists wanting something a bit more cultural should check out the Bliss Dance exhibit or catch as show at the T-Mobile Arena.

The Bliss Dance Exhibit

The artist’s inspiration behind this 40-ft tall dancing sculpture was taken from his first experience at the Burning Man festival. The “blissfully” dancing woman celebrates the strength and uniqueness of women around the world. The exhibit is a new addition to The Park and serves as a centerpiece for every visitor to enjoy.

T-Mobile Arena

Who comes to Vegas without buying tickets to at least one show? The T-Mobile Arena is the perfect place to see your favorite musicians, sports teams, comedians, and performers. Upcoming acts include Cher, Michael Bublé, Cirque du Soleil, and Janet Jackson (just to name a few).

Any hockey fans making their way to Vegas should visit “The Fortress,” the official home to the Las Vegas Golden Knights. Attending a hockey game in Vegas is like nowhere else in the world. Hours before the puck is dropped, the fun starts at Beerhaus and then the party returns to The Park afterwards.

Where to Stay

You can actually stay directly within The Park if you wish. Book a room at New York-New York or Park MGM Las Vegas Hotel and you’re set. This is your best bet if you’re looking to stay in the heart of the action.

New York New-York Hotel & Casino

The neighbouring New York-New York Las Vegas Hotel & Casino provides amenities that cater to all of your travel needs. You’ll have full access to an onsite spa, fitness and wellness center, full-service salon, and concierge services that help with all of your Vegas planning needs. If you do go to the spa, don’t miss the steam room. It’s everything one could want in a steam room and one of the best we’ve seen anywhere.

Park MGM Hotel

Park MGM Las Vegas has tons of room and suite styles to choose from. The hotel is the epitome of luxury but you can still find extremely reasonable rates. Choose a suite for the entire family or a smaller room that is perfect for your nomadic lifestyle. The best part though is that as soon as you leave the lobby you’ll be right in the thick of things.

Why The Park Vegas Offers the Ultimate Vegas Getaway

You’ll get a Vegas experience that you never imagined when you visit The Park venue, especially if you book a room at one of the onsite hotels. The Park isn’t just a cool site to see in Vegas, it is an entire neighbourhood that will show you an entirely new side of Sin City.

In closing, this was brought to you by MGM Resorts. That said all opinions are my own as they always have been and always will be.
