Leaving Little Corn Island with a Little Piece of Land

Good day,

Writing this on a day that makes me glad I opted for the later panga, it may still rain but this morning was horrendous. I am typing on a broken Toshiba laptop aka a key is missing and others barely working, accompanying it is my broken iphone in the pocket. What makes it all “alright” is that in the other pocket is the deed to a humble piece of property in what many, myself included consider paradise.

I came back here because I loved it and had this little plot and big plans in mind. Turns out it didn’t workout but the vibe was sent that I was looking and if it was destined to be, it would. Found a nice place that is in a good location and 486 square meters. It’s by no means acreage but it’s something and I plan on building a “Caribbean Compound” on my property with entertaining in mind. I can hear the ocean and believe if I built a certain structure, could see the sea.

Ever bought a new car, how did it feel? Did you play with a few of the features and just stare at it? I assure you doing the same on a piece of property is similar only the same experience on speed. It’s simply divine watching life take root and realizing what types of trees you already have, what you want to plant, the endless possibilities and all that jazz music.

I’m off to Managua, I’ll write more on this later but be sure to subscribe to the newsletter on the right column as foreign real estate is now part of the game around here, can’t believe I wasted any of my time or money bothering with electronic graphs showing red and green when everywhere in the world there is property just waiting and a sight unseen. Another thing that’s cool about real estate is that the float is always 0% short on that boat and if all else fails, you can actually LIVE ON IT.

Little Corn Island in the Autonomous Region of the Southern Atlantic & part of Nicaragua is going to be the SHABL WHQ due to it’s proximity to North America and lifestyle. This place is still very reasonable but the risk is so much lower than for say a neighbor who got in 7 years ago. The reality is that 7-15 years ago this place was “wow that’s cheap” and part of my travel plans will focus around finding that next place for future SHABLesque souls who surf the internet in pinstripe suits and fake sunglasses. I’m thinking south pacific but one step a time… If you’re curious about buying here, check out Little Corn Island Real Estate.

I’m leaving a suitcase full of stuff, hope it doesn’t go moldy.

Next stop, Managua.

Tips hat,
