Time Flies When Having FUN in Bangkok
“They” and by that I mean I’m not sure who “they: are but I am sure that they say that time flies when you’re having fun. It’s been 9 days that I’ve been in Bangkok… Feels like only yesterday I got here. Anyways as always I’m busy doing the kind of stuff guys who sorta work for themselves do. I say sorta as I’ve done so little over the last 1.5 years that if anything else were said, it would be pure folly.
Also, if I were to update this blog daily, it would be boring, it would even bore me to tears as I toy on my computer and go to the gym with occasional late night strolls, of sorts. Thinking where this blog is going to go. Been reading some other blogs in the industry here and there and I’ve concluded that reading about other people’s days are really boring, shockingly boring, I just skim them and then closer the browser. If someone started going on a rant about their trip to Dunkin Donuts on the way to work, you’d probably tune out. That said, I tip my hat to you, the reader for sticking around here.
Been focusing more on things that bring in the bank. Part of the reason I opted for Bangkok is their is lots of wealth here, it’s inspiring. I love seeing someone cruise around in a brand new S-Series Mercedes or an M5 BMW. Even get the occasional Bentley. Another oddity I noticed when reading these travel blogs is how people glamorize living cheap. Back home, you don’t glamorize the 35 year old guy who lives in his parents basement, makes KD for dinner and on weekends throws in some sausage do you? I mean that guy isn’t spending jack but what’s his quality of life?
Anyways, here are some photos from what I’ve been up to. As mentioned, rethinking the direction of this blog… Hmmm… Reckon you already know my style from the ~500+ updates of that nature that already exist. Most travel blogs talk about photography or living on a budget. I don’t really know anything about either. I could go into detail about how to go on a world trip with no preparation whatsoever but some vaccinations but that would be done in 1 update.
Something needs to be done! Got a text from Adventurous Kate today, she’s back in Bangkok. Also she’s with Adam from Travels of Adam. Never met Adam but know Kate and meeting them tomorrow in the Siam Square area aka my hood, should be fun. It’s also cool they are both from Boston, I have family there. Only thing worse than talking about your day is what your plans are for tomorrow, ha, ha ha.
I have work to do.
Tips hat,
P.S: As this lady eludes to, living in Bangkok is RECOMMENDED.
P.P.S: How does this truck driver even see where he’s going!?
P.P.P.S: Underneath Siam Paragon there is the world’s best gourmet food market, EVER. Anything you ever wanted from wherever you are from is there and MORE.
