A Day in Belgrade, Serbia
Greetings,
I’ve been in Belgrade now for the last two nights and I’d of liked to have written this sooner but it has been quite hectic and yours truly has been on the go. My first impressions of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia is that it’s beyond amusing and affordable to spend some time in. I’ve experienced some of the famed nightlife and spent a day strolling the street snapping photos of whatever seemed worthy, I took a lot of photos.
The place has a good vibe and my dollars go a long way. Couple that with interesting people at every turn, most of which I’ve found speak English and I do believe we’ve found a winner. How long I’m going to stay is very much uncertain at this point but I think that if you’re touring through this part of the world, you’d be amiss if you skipped Belgrade. I’m off on a mission to Bosnia but will return to Serbia in a few days to continue exploring.
It’s almost like the further you explore away from the everyday, the more places you’ll find that just simply make your day. They also have incredible shoe shopping here which is a wild hobby of mine. I bought a pair of New Balance 420’s yesterday but for some reason I don’t think they fit properly which is a wild problem of mine; go figure? Seems like another problem of mine is that there are so many beautiful cities and so little time…
On the topic of that, Belgrade has quickly become another favorite city of mine which I knew next to nothing about before I arrived. In all sincerity, I’ve only been here a night or so and as a result, still know next to nothing about it. For those of you who are thinking of buying a ticket or jumping in the car and simply going somewhere… I implore you to do it while the feeling is there because there are few feelings in the world like exploring a new city with an open mind.
These are photos from a day in Belgrade, Serbia; you’d like it if you’ve got a pulse.
Tips hat,
