Luxury Room at The Saxon Hotel in Johannesburg

Above is a video from my short but sweet stay at The Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spa in Johannesburg, South Africa. To say this place was first class would be an understatement and the service was impeccable. This is the type of place where the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Bill Clinton hang their hat when in the area. It used to be a private residence which has been turned into what it is today, an oasis for those looking for the finest things in life.

I also hit up the spa and believe it or not, began chatting with the only other person there. Turns out it was a lady from Canada who went to the rival university of mine; random. We had an early check-out and the breakfast is below; delicious. I’d have more photos but there was something going on when we arrived as media and were asked not to take photos of common areas out of respect for the privacy of other guests.

It’ a lovely place, feel privileged to have had the opportunity to experience it.

I believe this gives you a taste of what it’s all about.
