The Low After The High & Instanbul Dentists

Greetings,

Today was the low after the high, it was the valley in between peaks and the loss after a winning streak. What goes up, must come down. Can’t have highs with out the lows and so on… So yeah, all that jazz and getting acquainted with some Istanbul Dentists.

Last week was crazy, arguably most jam packed ever and a trip of a lifetime inside the trip of a lifetime. Now I’m back in Istanbul for the third time and most everything I plan / planned on doing has been accomplished so it’s sorta like “going home” only you basically don’t know anyone and you’re exhausted. Hung out on the roof top patio below quite a bit, writing this from the top left hand corner.

Did what anyone fighting a mild bout of depression would do, went to the dentist. Turns out Istanbul Dentists are world class and quite affordable. Best job of my life and middle to low price range on a global scale, indeed. Let me tell you about it in more detail, shall we?

It’s this technique that uses a high pressure jet filled with what tastes like fluoride. Same style that they had in Poland, very fast, very effective, medium discomfort. The old scaling isn’t painful until they hit a sensitive spot. This technique is in the middle of no pain and some pain the whole time and does a stand up job.

It blasts everything off and your teeth literally look brand new. No other method comes close. Be warned though, when they say you can use the sink, you’ll spit out blood as though you were punched in the mouth and lost half your teeth. Also they will show you your smile in the mirror and it will be laughable, same with the state of your gums. In 15 minutes everything is back to normal and you’ve had the best job of your life, your teeth look and feel new.

Afterwards went for a stroll into the markets, took some snaps, looked for people I could practice my growing Arabic with but to no avail, eat some good food and went on a wild goose chase.

There is a product I wish to sell and was looking for it. Long story short went to about 5 outlets which let me on numerous 20 minute walks into 10 story malls all to conclude one thing… Did the first guy I ever spoke with even really understand me or was I on a mission to find something that could not be found? Regrettably, the latter is most probable. Got so involved in this “search for nothing” even ended up in random basements of deserted malls that smelt like mildew with one small store open and a clerk just thrilled to see someone…

Yours truly is somewhat ill, as a result egregious quantities of lemon and honey are being consumed. Apart from that trying to eat as much random food as possible. In Istanbul you can spend everything you have or very little, often depends how many streets you are from the main drag, it’s very drastic here.

Once feeling up to snuff, a bus trip to Macedonia is in order. Know of two rogue like gents wandering around those parts. It’s also closer to my final destination which is home in early August for a few months.

Now that the low after the high is over, back to our unscheduled programming.

Tips hat,
