Afternoon on a Sailing Yacht Charter Off Malta

Good day,

Today I want to share with you a video from an afternoon sailing on a yacht off the coast of Malta. While I was on the plane approaching the island I was involved in some light banter with one of the flight attendants and they said you positively have to go sailing. Turns out they couldn’t be more correct and if you do come, I highly recommend this activity for those that are traveling as a couple, group or family. I went with a group of new friends and loved every minute of it.

You’ll get picked up in the harbor and go for a little sail while enjoying some fine wine; afterward you’ll pull into a bay and eat a delicious lunch with all the flavors of the Mediterranean that you can imagine. Following that it’s back to sailing and if you’re lucky, will get to experience the Grand Habour in all its splendor.

I was there in April and the weather was great but definitely recommend bringing a sweater as it can get cooler at sea. Should you be going to Malta in the high season which is summer in the northern hemisphere, you should not have a problem and will probably even find yourself going for a quick swim before and or after your lunch.

The entire experience took most of the afternoon and as stated earlier; highly recommended. If you’d like to know more about sailing, you can read a post I wrote the day it happened by clicking here. In case you’re curious who we went with, the company is called Boat Link Malta.

This post was made possible as a result of the Blog Island Malta campaign which was created and managed by iambassador in partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority and the support of Air Malta.  As always, I’d like to thank them for putting this initiative together and including Stop Having a Boring Life in the action; obviously all opinions are my own.

Tips hat,
