Dogs Life in San Sebastian, Spain

Greetings,

This will be brief as I am at a table with once strangers now friends having a sick time on a Friday night. You have to come to San Sebastian, it’s “dogs life” style, seriously. Before now had you asked me where my fav place in the world was, I’d say, no clue and places like (too many too list) would come to mind. Now I can tell you that this place is the bomb.

Everyone in this town that I have met is very friendly from the locals to the foreigners. Last night I ended up eating a tone of that Beef stew which was actually spaghetti with those Danes. Later on in the evening after I had passed out, one of them woke me up and slipped me a note. It was the code to a safe, interesting, indeud.

Turns out they left me the rest of their party materials that they couldn’t bring with them to Denmark, bonus. Side note, this place is amazing for photos, I took some but it’s not so nice out, I will show you this place in all it’s glory and had I not bought the Eurail Global Pass 3 month continuous, aka the 1st class “let’s do Europe in style pass”, I’d just live here, seriously. Should I come to Europe next summer, I’ll just stay here until I have to leave, visa styles, yes?

Today was super sunny and I woke up early and did what anyone without much to do would do, walked around and met cool people. I also bought a camera so expect photos in the future. I bought a cheap one for 79E, it’s 12 mega pixel but only 3x zoom. Man, stuff is pricey here compared to Vietnam, we knew that already though, yes? They had a canon one which would be better but it was 225 and was only 4x zoom and didn’t have HD video, RIP! This one doesn’t have HD video but the only vids I take are for youtube anyways so who cares? Also, realistically it will be broken before I leave Europe, sigh.

Spent the afternoon fishing with a bloke I met from Ireland, we didn’t catch anything because it was raining and we bailed, tomorrow we plan on catching like 10-2,000 fish, ok 1-2 will do but there is some BIG GAME here and it’s good to be fishing again. Spent a while looking for some bait, ran into this super market which has better prices then anywhere I have found and the Fish Monger lady hooked us up with shrimps, free.

This hostel is dope, supposedly Luke Wilson stayed here last month, I think it’s a joke. Imagine that though you play the “hostel roulette game” and walk into Luke Wilson who is like “What’s happening?” and then you just joke about Old School quotes until you pass out, that would be sweet.

In other news, I have come across something of value and this weekend I will decide whether I keep it for myself or perhaps make one of your summers and give away something that would let you see most of Europe, FREE. Yes Yes, I know I know, either way I have some decisions to make. I was planing on spending 3.5 months in Europe, with this, I will end up staying 5.5 months and then fly direct from the Mediterranean to Vegas for Blog World 2010. I’m serious about this blogging game and make my living from it, obviously I’m going. I mean, a big party, guys and girls like me from around the world and free drinks at swanky clubs in Vegas, no brainer, yes?

Tonight it looks like their is a party going, I’m glad I rested up. I will stay here until Monday EARLIEST then I must move on.

This weekend I will add many pictures, weather permitting and BE SURE to stay tuned on Monday for it will be a regular normal update or a sweet contest that could make your summer. We don’t mess around here at SHABL and by we, I mean I.

Have a sick weekend and keep talking to strangers.

God speed,

P.S: You can grab a 12 pack of San Miguel for 4.55E, wow.
