Greetings,

Was enjoying a smoke and a beer outside one of my favorite bars in Amsterdam. Right near central station I met a gent ~my age who turns out to own the place. It became a regular watering hole and spent time there whenever I walked by and my friend was around.

Suddenly this couple passed. It was the closest I’d seen to a distinguished gentleman and lady of sorts on my travels. The gent had a mini top hat and even a cane. The lady was dressed like she was going to some social event in the 1930’s. Not sure who they are but they definitely have the right idea.

They seemed happy, they never walked by us, if they had I would have most certainly given them a tip of the hat and probably started a conversation. Lot’s of interesting people in this world, particularly Amsterdam.
