White Water Rafting on the Pacuare River, Costa Rica

Greetings,

While I was in Costa Rica with the Gift of Happiness Campaign I had the distinct pleasure of white water rafting on the Pacuare River. I filmed this video and it turned out better than I had hoped for. I`m new to this whole `video game`and by no means consider myself an editor in any stretch of the sense. We battled Class III & IV rapids with ease and grace or so I say to save face.

If you`re thinking of doing something like this, I recommend it. It wasn`t that difficult but it was a lot of fun. If you really want to get “wet and wild”, I suggest you visit mid- late October as that is the full brunt of rainy season. You`ll see rocks on the side normally but when the river is running full it`s a whole new experience, supposedly. I`m still in Costa Rica and I now know why late October is the deadest time of the year for tourism, it`s POURING here on the Osa Peninsula.

Naturally that pouring would make for poor vacation photos but an epic trip down the Pacuare River… Side note, be sure you know what to pack when taking a trip to Costa Rica, the weather can be a real mix!

Oh yeah, I wrote about the experience here and here earlier if you`d like to know more.

Tips hat,

P.S: You can see this White Water Pacuare River Rafting Costa Rica and more videos on youtube…
