Thoughts on #TBEX Dublin 2013 – VLOG

Greetings,

Today we have a vlog about my thoughts on TBEX Dublin. Listen up, a good 1/3 of the people there were just starting a blog so what’s stopping you from coming to one of these if you are somewhat interested in the industry and want to visit somewhere interesting filled with travel personalities? End of the day, the sessions are great if you’re getting going but a bit stale like a math teacher’s breath if you’re already rolling.

That said, it’s all about connecting with like-minded individuals and the price of admission gets you access to some parties that let you see the destination in a way you’d never be able to on your own. Also, unless you’re straight up anti-social or close minded, you’ll leave with some new friends and a few new tricks of the trade. I met some new people I now consider friends, strengthened previous relationships and had a revelation on how I sail my ship… #Success.

Check out some photos I shot wandering the streets of Dublin after the event.

See you next year?

Tips hat,

P.S: This show brought me to Ireland; now I love the place and currently in Galway.

True words. Can’t wait to meet all the new and random people next year who will say, “I heard it was a good party value from Rob’s video” ;)

Great thoughts Rob, we absolutely LOVED all the free food and drinks. I normally consider myself a “conference crasher” actually- hanging out and partying at my wife’s research conferences :) TBEX was my first with my own vested interested, that turned into a massive hangover. What a bash! And I highlighted that aspect as well…

Right on and yeah, it’s a solid time with like-minded individuals… Very worse, you see somewhere new and learn a few things, flip side is sky is the limit…

Rob, great vlog! I wish I’d seen something as positive and welcoming as this before TBEX– I am sure this will help the next round of newbies out. Thanks for sending out the welcome wagon, it was a blast!
