Video: Sightseeing on the Island of Gozo

Good day,

This is the first of several videos from my recent trip to the marvelous Maltese islands. I spent most of my time on Malta as I was based in Valletta but I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of Gozo for the day. The day I had was wonderful as seen in this video but what it did was inspire me to return one day and see more of it.

For more; check out my post called “Day Trip to the Maltese Island of Gozo“.

This island was a favorite of my late uncle in the UK. He was a real character and considered buying a place there. When I was in Malta the rest of my family and friends urged I go; now I know why. The hop on hop off bus made things really easy and if you do choose it, suggest you take the early ferry from Malta as there is lots to cover, lots!

I do believe the ideal way to see Gozo would be to stay a few nights and rent a car or a bike if you’re the adventurous fitness type. Lots of places on the tourist trail but everywhere is a possible photo and you’ll never know unless you go, right? I only stumbled into a few cafes and restaurants and can only imagine what else is there. Regardless of your travel style, do spend some time in the capital of Gozo called Victoria; really quaint place and you’ll love getting lost in those tiny lanes throughout.

This post was made possible as a result of the Blog Island Malta campaign which was created and managed by iambassador in partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority and the support of Air Malta.  As always, I’d like to thank them for putting this initiative together and including Stop Having a Boring Life in the action; obviously all opinions are my own.

Tips hat,

Thanks for sharing! Two of my friends have already been to Gozo and loved it. I hope I will go there one day too. It looks so beautiful. I love those little alleys.
