Most Relaxing Day of My Life

Day two of this journey of indefinite length has got to be one of the most relaxing days of my entire life. I basically just chilled without a concern in the world. I went out late, very late last night and that is on top of the time change. Being the first full day of this new lifestyle it felt awesome having no constraints on my time. As a result, I did as I pleased and loved it.

Went to a party last night and the hosts hired a Chinese chef to come to the house and prepare mountains of delicious plates for the party, I thought that was really cool.  On the way back through downtown we gave a bag filled with fresh leftovers to a homeless guy, the look the guys face was priceless.

I spent the morning drifting in and out of consciousness with the golf channel on mute in the background and the occasional glance at the stock market. When I finally arose from my prolonged slumber of sorts I went to a barber at a social club and sipped on some scotch during and while waiting for what would turn out to be an awesome haircut.

Having had sushi 3 times in the last 30 hours, I’m beginning to get sick of it which is alright. A man can only eat so many spicy tuna rolls. That said, they are great if you want to stop having a boring tuna.

I have to say that having been to Vancouver numerous times, it feels very different knowing I have no ticket home. I’ve found many vacations to be like an extended weekend, they are a great time except in the back of your mind you know you’re working against time and sooner rather than later it will end. Not having that plague your subconscious is a pretty sick feeling.
