Wow. I don't think I want to go back there either now I'm here! I'm at a lovely, clean, quaint family run guesthouse, double bed, hot shower, free wifi and a ceiling fan (it's cool here, no a/needed) all for 300baht. I may be here a while! The staff are genuinely helpful too rather than trying to get you to buy something or shouting "Ping Pong" at you! Such a calm vibe about the place after the madness of Khao San.
