Sketchy Hotel off Khao San Road, Bangkok at 4AM

Good day,

Last night I had the displeasure of arriving in Khao San Road at ~2AM. We could not find a room until 4am. We walked all over, checked everywhere until a girl with dreads pointed us to this place “Marco Polo”… Wow, sketchiest place I have ever slept in my life, besides the train station in Yogyakarta of course.

So there you have it. Today I drank egregious quantities of street orange juice. I eat food from the street like a contestant from “The Biggest Loser” on their day off and met some nice ladies from Holland.

Now I’m hanging out with my linebacker friend from the US that I met in Taiwan on my way here from LA. This is like deja vu and I kinda like it in a weird “you’re on Khao San Road or near it” type way.

The video speaks for itself, suffice to stay I checked out and won’t be back there, ever.

Tonight, I will pop some antibiotics, call those women and head out on the town for a few beverages with my friend from the US.  How long will I stay in this city? Who knows, who cares, I’m having a good time.

Tips hat,

Ah Rob, isn’t Khao San, old San? I actually stayed in a hostel far from Khao San.. among the realz people. Hope your knee is doing better.

You know, I vote for Laos next and Cambodia will mindfuck you (not to swear, I am a lady).. you get my meaning. It is worth going. Love reading this leg of your trip, brings back memories.

hahaha, pleasant memories. For some reason I never make it far from Khao San Road. Might do some exploring tomorrow.

Vote noted, good chance I’m going there very soon.
